Hello lovies ‘
Must admit I have been a little disconnected of late. Thing
is, no matter how hard we try life always finds a way to get to us. I am a
pretty vibrant person and it takes a lot to see me beat and for that I thank
God. I do sweat the small stuff occasionally; who doesn’t?but I kindah
have this huge belief that it will all work out somehow…
Someday we will figure
it out. Right?
So today its all bright…sun is out ‘it’s so easy breezy but am at
work’ hahaha (looking at it on the brighter side’) I walked by the park today
morning and took these shots. I wore yellow;something about this colour that
brings out the best in me’ I feel happy, I hope you do too. Sometimes instead
of looking at the downers we work with what we have and find joy in them.
My dear friend Lillian and I were supposed to attend
poolside fashion but I had to pass…duty calls’ ( that’s a downer right there)
but guess what? I am taking my own
advice and choosing joy. I will be cooped up in the office all day….with the
sun all out, so I figured I might as well do something to perk me up…I went to
the park and cheesed for the camera and so now ,here i am working as i listen to Rick
Dees (weekly top 40) and my day is quite okay. (nothing to compare to poolside
fash but am hanging in here)
So if like me you have been going through unfathomable shit
and feel like it’s the last straw, do something to perk you up…whatever does
it for you…go do the damn thing. It will be so worth it’
On other news I am pretty
excited to have joined instagram’ Being a photo lover (every fashion blogger is) that
is one app that I needed in my life. I looooooooooooooove it’ check out my
instagrams down there. Also I am wearing my hair up this month…I love high buns’
they are so chic I figure’ so I leave y’all with snippets of my Saturday stroll
