TAKE THESE THINGS AWAY..........

Hello beautiful people,

Today I just want to send you a quick note about the most important relationship that you have.Your relationship with yourself. While we learn to love and to accept others we also need to learn to love and to accept ourselves. The truth is that you can’t give what you don’t already have.If you don’t have love how can you give love?

Self love is at the very core of well-being, joy, self-empowerment, and your ability to create and enjoy the kind of life you want. You cannot enjoy happiness if you are not at peace with yourself. Your relationship with yourself is the most important one you’ll ever have.
My sincere apologies for being M.I.A’ blame it on my internet connection which for lack of a better word is at the moment crappy like sh**. Hope y’all are holding up fine. It’s been a busy couple of days at work and also because my bestie’s sister got married this past weekend; there is an overload of pictures from that glorious day, to be shared later but i had to throw in a teaser ....for your eyes only’ wink wink
Despite the hustle and bustle i am doing well’ i hope you all are too.As i mentioned earlier on i think it’s time to actually close the 2012 chapter completely. So i figured I’d do a mash up of all things December and let the curtains close....come next post i will be in the now...how does that sound? Much better i know.
So the initial title of my blog post today  was supposed to be ‘WAKE ME UP WHEN FEBRUARY ENDS ‘ but then i realised, that would be writing myself out completely when it comes to matters of the heart. Truth be told, my love story has got to be the shortest book ever written but as they say where there’s a will there’s a way and so I named it after an absolutely awesome song by Rachel Platten ‘TAKE THESE THINGS AWAY’ it goes something like this..........
I want someone to know my favourite ice cream
I want someone to laugh when i act like am thirteen
I need someone to stay till i can fall asleep
Make being awake like living in a dream
And at the end of everyday no one can take these things away
We all want love and that’s okay baby that someone
And when the song has slipped away
And the darkness swallows the day
And another ones not very far away baby just hold on

“Love yourself—accept yourself—forgive yourself—and be good to yourself, because without you the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things.”
(Leo F. Buscaglia)
